Research Project
- Topic -- Pick a topic you are interested in studying for the next few weeks. The more you like the topic, the easier it will be to complete the project. If you pick a topic that you already know a lot about then you will need to find a way to dig deeper and learn more.
- Resources -- Find at least 3 great resources for your research. These can be digital, books, videos in the library, or even personal interviews. Create a Google Doc in the Google Classroom assignment. Put a hyperlink to your website and then describe why it would be a good quality website to use. The link at the bottom of the page can help with evaluating websites.
- Notes -- Use note cards to write down important information in your own words from your resources. To prevent plagiarism, use your note cards to write your paper.
- Organize the Order -- Plan out the order of your paper. Create an outline and add it to your assignment in Google Classroom.
- Write -- You will write a 600+ word paper about your topic that follows the 5 paragraph format, although it can have more than five paragraphs. The paper should be written in your own words from your note cards.
- Bibliography -- Use the tool Easybib to add an MLA bibliography to the end of your paper. Sorry, the bibliography does not add to your word count.
- Artifacts -- You should turn in your 600+ word paper, bibliography, and note cards.
